Understanding You

Together, we will explore the emotions and life experiences that may be holding you back from living your life. Learning how to face, understand and cope with these emotions and experiences can loosen their hold over you.

I can work with adults (18+) experiencing; anxiety, attachment, depression, self-harm, stress or burn out, boundaries, work-related anxiety or stress, OCD, health anxiety, emotional regulation, self identity, self esteem issues, anger, grief or bereavement, trauma, or adults wanting to discover more about themselves to develop a deeper understanding and level of self awareness.

If you are looking for help with anything outside the scope of the list above, then please contact me so we can chat and see if I can help or refer you to an appropriate service or therapist.

A bit
about me

In providing you with a safe, comfortable and non-judgemental platform, I want to enable you to embrace life, and to cope well with what can be thrown your way.

I have 4 years experience providing individuals with counselling psychotherapy. As well as working with homeless and vulnerable individuals on a 1:1 rapport building basis for 3 and a half years.

At present, I work within an organisation providing online and telephone 1:1 mental health support over a 9 month period, for those whose mental health is impacting their ability to work.

Testimonials

'Jess has been the reason I have come out the other side and found my sparkle again. I have been in and out of therapy since I was 18 year old and Jess is the only one that has truly helped me. Her approach suited me, somedays it would be just to sit and listen to me, others were to challenge my thought process and others where drawing circles, rivers and little stick men (which all now sit on my fridge as a reminder). No one session was the same and tailored that session to my needs at the time and she really heard you and wanted to help, she showed a real interest in you and truly cares about you. I looked forward to my sessions as it was an hour that was truly mine to work on myself and the challenges I had. Jess helped me see things differently and the tools she gave me have stuck and I can truly say that my head is a much calmer place. I bring what I have learnt in session into everyday life and it keeps me calm and on track. I am truly thankful for Jess and her support, and no number of words can tell her how she saved me. I know that now I am at the end of the chapter with her she will always be there in case I need further support which when you able to build a repour puts an ease on my mind'
